RESERVEREN bij volkskeuken Kometen:

* Op z’n laatst op Zondag voorafgaand aan de Maandag waarop je wilt komen eten.
*Mail volkskeuken-kometen@linuxmail.org en mail je naam, datum en aantal personen. Je krijgt direct automatisch een e-mail terug met informatie over de reservering en als we vol zitten staat dat groot bovenaan in de e-mail.
of, als je echt niet kunt e-mailen:
* Bel 06-13078591 en spreek duidelijk de voicemail in. Zeg je naam, datum waarop je wilt komen en het aantal personen. Zitten we vol, hoor je dit in het voicemailbericht.
*Reserveer altijd, zo weten de koks waar ze aan toe zijn en kunnen ze nauwkeuriger inkopen.
Dit zijn de enige twee manieren om te reserveren. Probeer liever niet een van de medewerkers te contacteren om te reserveren, dit zorgt alleen voor verwarring.
HEB JE WEL GERESERVEERD, MAAR KAN JE NIET KOMEN? BEL DAN OP TIJD AF! Anders moeten we jouw bordje met eten weggooien..

*Mail volkskeuken-kometen@linuxmail.org and mail your Name, the date and the number of people.
You’ll always get an autoreplied email back with information about the reservation. It can happen that we’re full, if so, you’ll read it in the autoreply.
If you really have no access to internet:
*call 06-13078591 and make your reservation by voicemail. Please say your name, number of persons and the date you want to come.

More information about your reservation
making a reservation is actually the toughest task there is at the
Kometen Kitchen. You would be surprised to hear how people try so hard
but are still not able to make a reservation on time, or even worse,
that they do manage to make a reservation but never show up.
having a reservation at the Kometen Kitchen is something special. from
the moment we put down your name we will make sure the yummiest food
will be awaiting you on monday evening. this involves numerous bike
rides to organic stores all across the city, dragging all the groceries
up those damn stairs and turning them into something delicious for many
painstaking hours.
you can imagine our dissapointment if you don’t show up after all that work.
so please do! the Kometen is a Kitchen, not a restaurant (how else would
you get ayway with paying only 3,50 euro’s for a three course meal!), we
put a lot of our love, time and effort into organising the restaurant,
realise this the moment you make a reservation and make the reservation
on time! it’s really annoying to have people calling you for
reservations while youre already setting the tables.
here is some advice on how to make a reservation, good luck!
* be on time, reservations can be made untill the sunday. but if youre
coming with a group of 9, please don’t wait till 10 to midnight to send
in your reservation. on the monday we are so busy cooking all that food
that we really don’t have time to check reservations, leave alone to run
to the store for additional food, so totally forget about making
reservations on the monday. by that time the only thing we can do for
you is to put you on a sidelist.
* be correct, if youre not sure whether your friends will really come,
let them make their own reservations, that way we can keep the number of
cancellations as small as possible.
* be thoughtfull, if you realise youre not gonna make it, let us know as
soon as possible! send us an email or, if you have to cancell on the day
itself, give us a ring. this way we can pass your reservation on to
those poor souls that didnt manage to be on time.
* use phone, email, or simply write down your name on the list at the
Kitchen. you know how drunk and stoned we get during the weekends,
please don’t expect us to remember reservations you gave us at 4 in the
night in a shady corner of some obscure party. just take that little
effort to drop us a line or give us a call, then we will remember.
